Haiti Fundraiser

I'll be taking part with Arashi Daiko in the following fundraiser next Saturday, February 13th at our cultural centre. We'll be doing a taiko demonstration as well as presenting a little about the history of taiko and the group. Come on out and support a most worthy cause!

Haiti Relief Fundraiser Organized by the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Montreal
Saturday, February 13th
12:00pm to 4:00pm
8155 Rousselot, Montreal (Jarry metro, bus 193 East; Fabre metro, bus 45 north)

- Enjoy great food to support a great cause! Sushi, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, manju, daifuku-mochi, zenzai, and more will be available for purchase.

- There will be taiko (Japanese drums), odori (traditional dance), ikebana (flower arrangement) and iaido (martial art) demonstrations.

- Screenings of recent Japanese Canadian animated short films.

*Admission is free; donations will be collected at the demonstrations and films :)

***All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross for Haiti***
